Vad 3dul ca o manifestare subreda care incearca sa sa-si ia avant dar mai mult merge de-a busilea.
Totusi, asta nu ma impiedica sa mai fac si fotografii 3d din cand in cand. Fiecare din imaginile de mai jos este facuta din cate doua imagini si reprezinta vederi ale orasului Sulina.
*Imaginile se vad corect printr-o pereche de ochelari anaglyph (rosu/albastru).

In my view, i see 3d as a weakling trying to stand up on its feet but failing due to multiple reasons.
Alas, this doesn't stop me from playing around with 3d from time to time. These are all made up from 2 images each and were taken in Sulina, a city on the banks of the Danube.
*For viewing these correctly you will need a pair of anaglyph glasses (red/blue).

To Crete:

Gradina manastirii Arcadia.

Manastire in care, la invazia turcilor in 1846, s-au adapostit parintele Gabriel, impreuna cu o mana de oameni de prin satele invecinate, majoritatea femei si copii.
Au rezistat asediului vreme de doua zile, iar cand turcii au reusit sa intre in curtea manastirii, cei dinauntru s-au aruncat in aer, folosind butoaiele de praf de pusca din camera de armament.
Din cei 964 de oameni prezenti la inceputul asaltului, 864 au murit in lupta sau la momentul exploziei. 100 au fost capturati.

Arcadia Monastery garden.

This is a very special place in Crete. It is a monastery where, when the turks invaded, in 1846, the igoumen Gabriel, together with the women, children, and a handful of fighters from the area retreated to.
They resisted for two days, and when the turks broke into the monastery, they blew themselves up using barrels of gun powder.
Out of the 964 people present at the start of the assault, 864 were killed in combat or at the moment of the explosion, while 100 were captured.

Situatia este urmatoarea. Am o cunostinta care a avut un accident pe munte, a cazut si si-a zdrobit un picior. Asta se intampla acum o luna. Zilnic i se face transfuzie cu cate o punga de 410 ml de B3. Este o grupa rara la noi in Romania iar daca la inceput toti prietenii lui au donat orice grupa de sange pentru ca el sa primeasca B3, acum se pare ca trebuie donat neaparat B3 pentru ca stocul a ajuns la limita. Daca va aflati in Bucuresti sau in zona Bucurestiului si puteti da o mana de ajutor, va rog, lasati-mi un mesaj sau accesati linkul acesta.

*UPDDATE 14 decembrie
Stefan a fost stabil vreme de cinci zile, drept care doctorii au decis sa-l bage in operatie in seara asta sau maine, pentru a-i inchide rana de la picior prin care pierdea sange. Organismul lui a inceput sa genereze trombocite, asadar se pare ca donatiile de sange nu mai sunt necesare. Va multumim mult de tot tuturor celor care ati raspuns la apelul nostru, momentan se pare ca lucrurile merg spre bine iar donatiile sunt puse in asteptare. Vreme de o luna Stefan a avut o infectie la plamani (cauzata de perioada lunga de intubare), doua preinfarcturi, i-au cedat rinichii si ficatul.
Se pare insa ca de cinci zile lucrurile merg spre bine pentru el, sa speram ca o sa tina!

One of the most beautiful cities in Crete. First picture is from inside the mosque inside the Fortretza, a Venetian fortress built on a hill overlooking the port of Rethymno. Second and third, well, you can guess where they are from :)

Photos taken at "Te Iubesc! Te Iubesc?" (I love you! I love you?). The play was enjoyable, the actors were wonderfully cast. The light was red, which spoke strange prophecies of massive post-processing, but it was not so bad.

The Homecoming

Romania is currently facing a decay of its own agriculture, of mass movement of population from village to city, and while people sometimes migrate even from the city to another country, the fields remain unworked, the old houses we may have even grown up in remain deserted, their walls slowly being eaten away by mold. In this photo, Adriana is helping me put into image my feeling of helplessness. I live in the capital city and this house, which belonged to my great-grandfathers, is now only visited from time to time. My whole life is in another place and the black dress she is wearing does not signify the mourning of the two people portrayed behind her, but of a different life that ended and can not be revived.

Biserica din Cisnadioara are plase de metal la geamuri pentru ca o statuie din altar a aparut pe internet la licitatie iar la scurt timp dupa aceea a fost furata. Altarul este acum protejat cu un sistem de alarma.

Culorile caselor s-au extins si la blocurile de 4 etaje din Cisnadioara. Strazile principale, care duc prin centru sunt proaspat asfaltate, dar daca mergi cu aparatul la vedere pe strazile aflate la 200 de metri distanta, le gasesti uzate si localnicii sunt bucurosi ca vine in sfarsit cineva de la ziar sa vada ce se intampla si la ei.

Revazandu-mi cateva din fotografii, am ramas fixata pe aceasta. Suntem pereni, dar poate ca avantajul fotografiei e ca oamenii continua sa traiasca in amintirea noastra exact asa cum ii vedem.
